First of all, what is New Age music? New age is a mix of electronic, world music, gothic, classical, ethereal, ambient and folk. This is by far one of my most favorite genres. However currently my collection of quality artists remains few. Below are a some artists who I consider to be part of the new age genre. It’s hard to label new age music; they are very electronic but you can easily hear the other musical styles. I guess I just label everything that fits into the sub genres as New Age.
