Bel Canto – You Rock My World Tonight
Album: Dorothy’s Victory
Genre: New Age, Norwegian Poop
Released: 2002
Rating: 4/5

This song is kinda cheesy, the lyrics are okay but I really enjoy it. It just makes me happy. I love the beat and it’s just a fun song. I’ve been listening to it a lot the past week or so. Bel Canto is one of my favorite artists that not many people know about.

Game: Final Fantasy XIII
Genre: Game
Released: 2009

When I first heard this I got the chills. I couldn’t believe my ears. It’s epic, beautiful and just perfect. The wild piano part in the intro is out of this world!!!!!

Yoko again to the rescue. I’ve been listening to this song this whole past week. I love this song’s melody and it just makes you feel good and happy. There are many good songs on this soundtrack I love Yoko Shimomura. She’s one of the best VGM (Video game music) composers out there.

Minor updates

I added a lot of content to the 50 favorite artists and  100 favorite songs sections. Although they are not complete yet.

This is pretty much what I’ve been hearing the past month. Mercenaries mode in Resident Evil 5. One of the funnest games I’ve ever played. I just got done playing it right now actually. Good uptempo track, it’s perfect for the game. Very impressed by the OST as well. I may write a review about the soundtrack.

Song of the Week 03/23/09 – 03/29/09

Late Night Alumni – Empty Streets (Aurora Remix)
Album: N/A
Genre: House
Released: 2006
Rating: 5/5
Lyrics (Coming Soon)

I just started listening to this remix of the song within the past month. It’s really damn good and has become one of my favorite house tracks. I have a lot of memories with another remix. Check it out here. The Seamus Haji & Paul Emmanuel remix is a track back from 2006 that I still listen to almost daily. Late Night Alumni’s album “Empty Streets” is a great down-tempo, chilled album. I usually listen to it at night before bed. This is one of THE perfect innocent quiet beautiful voices I have ever heard. This could be the best vocal house track ever created (Seamus Haji & Paul Emmanuel Remix).

Song of the Week 03/16/09 – 03/22/09

Lyrics

I’ve been kinda lazy this week. I haven’t been able to get to sleep and have been spending most of my time on Resident Evil 5. Today is a special day in my short but sweet history, and yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day :)

This song is a memory my brother and I shared. He got me into The Killers just a couple weeks ago. Honestly I’ve always wanted to listen to them but I guess that the timing was always meant to be. I LOVE THIS SONG. I LOVE YOU ANTHONY, you and I could rule the world if we wanted to. The trailer park in this music video reminds me of where my last living grandparent lives. Simi Valley baby. I usually hate male vocalists, but his voice is different.
