Alex Gold – You’re The One
Album: N/A
Genre: Electronic
Year: N/A (Cannot locate, around 2008)
Rating: 5/5

I heard this song on DI’s “Chilled Dreams” radio channel. This is the type of music that just grabs me and doesn’t let go. I’ve listened to this song on repeat so many times already. This song will be with me for the rest of my life. It’s so fucking sexy.

“When you dream, do you see my face my darlin?

And when you touch yourself… do you think of when I’m touchin you.

Somethin about you… makes me want you more and more.

Don’t run away from me, I can show you what my body’s for…

When I dream of you… I need you by my side to hold you… in my arms… cause I want you.”

Song of the Week 12/01/09 – 12/06/09

1 December 2009

Soldout – Maybe Tomorrow
Album: Stop Talking
Genre: Electronic
Year: 2004
Rating: 5/5

I think I first heard a remix of this song on Armin’s radio show. However I think I like the original album version a bit better. It’s like a sedative. Soldout is a band I’ve really gotten into the past year. I suggest you check them out if you like indie electronic synthpop.

Song of the Week 10/19/09 – 10/25/09

19 October 2009

Alice In Videoland – Better Off
Album: Outrageous!
Genre: Electronic
Year: 2005
Rating: 4/5

I found this band on a music sharing site, listened to this song once, rated it, and forgot about it. Then while driving the other night I heard it on random; upgraded it to a 4 star track. Their sound is somewhat unique to me.

Song of the Week 10/12/09 – 10/18/09

12 October 2009

E.S. Posthumus – Pompeii
Album: Unearthed
Genre: Production, Electronic
Year: 2001
Rating: 5/5

The video you see above is a trailer I made for my website http://biohazardmercenaries.com – It is a video made to recruit other Resident Evil 5 Mercenaries players to the site. The song worked perfectly. I picked it out when it came on my iPod randomly at the gym. EPIC.

Song of the Week 07/13/09 – 07/19/09

Soldout – For Your Next Girlfriend
Album: Stop Talking
Genre: Electronic
Released: 2004
Rating: 4/5

Well, here’s another Soldout track. I’ve actually really started to like them. I want another album! It will be awhile considering they just released an album in 2008. I just love their sound and vocalist has her own style I haven’t really heard before. The photo here in the video is taken by a girl in France named Solly. I found her on myspace and asked her if I could use it.

Song of the Week 07/06/09 – 07/12/09

Soldout – The Darkest Night
Album: Cuts
Genre: Electronic
Released: 2008
Rating: 5/5

I can’t remember exactly how I found out about Soldout. But I’ve always had a progressive trance remix of their song “Maybe Tomorrow.” I was looking them up on discogs.com and found they had their own albums. So therefore I listened to their stuff. This song is easily the best song I’ve heard of theirs so far. This track is kick ass awesome. Some of their other stuff is good, but this stands out for sure.
